Goethe wrote that boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.

What Pivotal is doing with just 348 pounds is genius. The aircraft has so few moving parts; it's inconceivable how few there are. This is the future. The limits of range, payload, and speed can all be overcome.

I think Pivotal has something that's ahead of its time. I want to help the company succeed in bringing flight to the non-pilot world.

Do you like to fly? If you do, this is the "Easy Button". Once you have it, it's repeatable and affordable.

I've flown in well over a dozen places. But flying off Wildcat Ridge in Twisp is my favorite — the valley has so much meaning to me.

Q

What makes you want to fly the BlackFly?

I feel at peace when I fly, and it prepares me to sleep well at night.

When I'm flying, there's always an element of curiosity, and I feel closer to the birds, who do this so effortlessly and perfectly.
